In order to tackle interoperability issues of large-scale automation systems, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) principles, where information exchange is manifested by systems providing and consuming services, have already been introduced. However, the deployment, operation, maintenance an extensive SoS (System Systems) mean enormous challenges for system integrators as well network service operators. The existing lifecycle management approaches do not cover all aspects management; therefore, integrated solution required. purpose this paper introduce a new approach, namely SoSLM Systems Lifecycle Management). This first provides in-depth description comparison most relevant process engineering methodologies ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) frameworks, how they affect various strategies. paper’s novelty strives Industry 4.0-compatible PLM (Product model extend it management-related on well-known methodologies. presented are adapted model, thus creating recommended model. supported demonstrations IIoT (Industrial Internet Things) applications services can be developed handled. Accordingly, complete implementation integration based proposed using Arrowhead framework that available SoS.
